Unnecessary Farce is a classic farcical comedy with lots of door slamming, running around, and making a mess of the stage. The set was comprised of two identical hotel rooms, so I only had one look for the show overall. I choose to create a mainly amber-toned look with strong amber sides and a more neutral white top light to keep the stage bright and energized to match the action of the actors. I also had several practical lights including a television set, and wall scones  - including one sconce that had to be "shot" and fall of the wall. Overall I focused on illuminating and highlight the hilarious comedy onstage will creating a warm amber atmosphere.
