Animal Farm was my first design while at NKU as a part of the First Year Show. For this show I used numerous colors to communicate and heighten the emotion that was occurring on stage. To the start the show when the "humans" where in charge, it was very stark an white, but once the animals gained control it became colorful and textured. As the status quo started to shift back, I reverted to the original stark white look in the beginning, emphasizing the circular story arc. I used intense colors to symbolize the intensity of the action, including strong side lighting when tensions were at their highest.
