For Granted, I worked as the Assistant designer as well as the electrician, we had to communicate numerous locations and scenes all with only two main looks. In the play, their are many spirits of passed relatives on stage with living counterparts, for this we used a cyan side and back with strong front light on the living character and a dimmer more dramatic look on the spirits. Along with the "spirit" look, there was the everyday amber look, with amber sides, an orange back light, and lights illuminating the windows to emphasize the house set.
